Nubia Phone With 90W Charging Clears 3C Certification as More ZTE Mobile Data Devices Also Appear

A new Nubia smartphone carrying model number NX888J has passed China’s 3C certification, and the listing confirms support for 90W charging. The certification does not identify the commercial product name, so the exact device is still unknown for now.

At this stage, the phone appears to be moving through only part of the approval pipeline. IT Home noted that the model has not yet shown up in China’s MIIT network access database or in the SRRC radio certification system, so there are still missing pieces before the device is fully mapped out.

The same report says ZTE also had several products categorized as 5G wireless data terminals pass 3C certification. The listed model numbers include MU5650D, MU5353, and MU5353D.

Those additional ZTE certifications are expected to correspond to upcoming portable 5G mobile WiFi products rather than mainstream smartphones. While the current filing does not reveal hardware details, it does indicate that ZTE’s broader mobile device pipeline is active beyond just handsets.

For the Nubia phone itself, the 3C result is a useful early signal but not yet a full product reveal. What is confirmed so far is limited: there is a new Nubia handset in the pipeline, it uses model number NX888J, and it supports 90W charging. More concrete information will likely need to wait for telecom registration records or future certification disclosures.
