OnePlus Turbo 6X may be the next addition to OnePlus’ midrange phone lineup, according to a new claim from Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station. The early takeaway is simple: the series is said to be coming in two display flavors, with a standard model using a 144Hz LCD panel and a Pro model moving up to a 1.5K OLED screen.
That report is still light on hard specifications, so there’s no official chip list, battery capacity, camera setup, or launch window yet. Even so, the split between LCD and OLED versions hints that OnePlus could be trying to cover two different price and positioning tiers under the same OnePlus Turbo 6X umbrella.
For context, IT Home notes that the current OnePlus Turbo 6 family launched in January this year. The series started at 1,699 yuan in China, with subsidized pricing dropping as low as 1,444.15 yuan in some cases. That gives a rough idea of the market segment the new models could continue targeting if this leak turns out to be accurate.
The existing OnePlus Turbo 6 uses a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile platform, a 1.5K 165Hz high-refresh display, and a 9,000mAh battery paired with 80W fast charging and bypass charging support. The related OnePlus Turbo 6V model is built around a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, a 144Hz eye-comfort gaming screen, and its own large 9,000mAh battery.
Seen in that context, the rumored LCD-and-OLED split doesn’t come out of nowhere. It would fit with OnePlus’ recent habit of segmenting devices by display, performance, and price while keeping battery life and gaming-friendly features near the center of the pitch. Until the company says more, though, this remains a leak rather than a confirmed launch roadmap.
So for now, the most credible read is a narrow one: a OnePlus Turbo 6X series is reportedly being prepared, and the lineup may include both LCD and OLED options. Everything beyond that still needs formal confirmation.
