According to reports from tech blogger Digital Chat Station, OPPO is currently testing a new OPPO mid-range phone that focuses heavily on ultra-long battery life. The upcoming device is expected to make headlines for its massive power capacity.
The phone will employ a single-cell design with a rated capacity of 9,700mAh, with typical capacity expected to hit around 10,000mAh. This marks the first time OPPO is bringing a 9700mAh battery or 10,000mAh battery category into the mid-range smartphone tier, scaling up from their usual 6,500mAh to 7,000mAh configurations.

To keep power consumption minimal, the device is rumored to feature a 4nm low-power processor. It will sport a 1.5K LTPS straight screen with a large corner radius (R-angle). For build quality, OPPO is using high-polymer drop-resistant materials and its signature “Diamond Shield” drop-proof architecture to maximize durability.
This long-lasting OPPO mid-range phone is projected to be positioned in the 2,000 RMB price segment (approximately $275 USD), offering a compelling choice for users who prioritize battery life above all else.
