OPPO Reno16 Pro is set to launch on May 25 at 6:00 p.m., and OPPO says this will be the first Reno phone to feature a 200MP gimbal camera as its main rear sensor.
According to the company’s latest teaser, the phone will pair that camera with the Natural Tone engine and chip-level image-quality optimization. OPPO has also confirmed that the device will use the Dimensity 9500s flagship chip.

Beyond imaging, OPPO is promoting a batch of gaming-focused features for the Reno16 series, including exclusive game filters, 1.5K super resolution, one-tap replay recording, in-game live capture, and 2K super-resolution screenshots.
IT Home adds that the Reno16 series is expected to use a rear camera setup made up of a 200MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a smart flash system. On the front, the phones are said to include a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera.

The series will also support 200MP photo capture, live telephoto shooting, 0.6× ultra-wide shooting on both the front and rear cameras, customizable live photo stickers, collage-style live image composition, multi-output 4K live capture, and several stylized photo modes including Inst film, flowing-light film, and CCD-style shooting.
That makes this launch less about a routine mid-cycle refresh and more about OPPO pushing the Reno line harder toward premium mobile imaging and creator-friendly shooting tools.
