Samsung starts selling certified refurbished Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 phones in the US with a one-year warranty

Samsung has officially started selling Samsung refurbished phones in the US through its Certified Re-Newed program, with the foldable lineup now including the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7.

The main appeal is the price gap versus buying new. Samsung is positioning these refurbished foldables as a lower-cost way to get into its latest premium form factors without giving up official support.

For the certified refurbished Galaxy Z Fold7, Samsung lists the 256GB model at $1,699, the 512GB version at $1,749, and the 1TB option at $1,879 in the US market.

For the certified refurbished Galaxy Z Flip7, the 256GB version is priced at $939, while the 512GB model comes in at $989.

Samsung says its refurbishment process follows four main steps. First, technicians inspect all hardware components to confirm they are working properly. Next, faulty parts are replaced with brand-new components, the phone gets a new battery, a new IMEI is assigned, and the latest system software is installed.

After that, each device goes through 147 quality checks. Only phones that pass the full review qualify for Samsung’s official certified refurbished program.

In the final stage, Samsung repackages the device in a new retail box and includes a basic accessory bundle.

Samsung also says these foldables come with a one-year official warranty, which makes the refurbished offer a bit easier to trust for buyers who want lower pricing without stepping outside the company’s own retail channel.

The refurbished Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 are now available through Samsung’s US website.
