vivo X500 Pro Max Appears in the GSMA Database, Hinting at a Broader Global Release

The vivo X500 Pro Max has now appeared in the GSMA database, adding one more model to vivo’s next X500 family and strengthening expectations that the lineup is moving closer to launch.

According to a report from SmartPrix cited by IT Home, vivo’s X500, X500e, and X500 Pro had already shown up in the IMEI database in recent days. A fresh database update now adds the X500 Pro Max as well.

That placement suggests the phone is being prepared as the highest-positioned model in the series. The Pro Max branding usually signals a stronger emphasis on premium hardware, and in this case it points to vivo pushing harder on areas like imaging performance and overall flagship positioning.

The listing also hints at a possible global launch, though that still shouldn’t be treated as final confirmation. Smartphone release plans can shift quickly, so a database entry is best read as an early indicator rather than a locked public roadmap.

Separately, Weibo tipster Wisdom Pikachu previously claimed that an upcoming vivo lineup would debut MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 chip, with the standard model using the Dimensity 9600 and the Pro and Pro Max versions moving to the 9600 Pro. If that leak is accurate, the X500 series could become one of the first places where vivo pairs its top-end imaging ambitions with MediaTek’s next flagship-class silicon.
