The vivo X500 Pro Max has now appeared in the GSMA IMEI database, adding one more sign that vivo is preparing a new top-end flagship for wider release.
SmartPrix had previously reported that three other models in the lineup — the vivo X500, X500e, and X500 Pro — had already shown up in the same database. A newer update now adds the vivo X500 Pro Max to that list.

Based on the report cited by IT Home, the Pro Max version is expected to sit at the top of the X500 family. The name itself suggests vivo is aiming for a more aggressive flagship package, especially in areas like imaging and overall performance.
One of the more notable takeaways from the GSMA entry is that the phone is expected to target a global release instead of remaining limited to a single domestic market. That does not guarantee a broad rollout everywhere, but it does point to wider ambitions for the device.
Earlier leaks from Chinese tipster Wisdom Pikachu claimed that an upcoming model from this brand would debut with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 chip, with the standard version using Dimensity 9600 and the Pro and Pro Max models moving up to Dimensity 9600 Pro. The current expectation is that those chips could power the vivo X500 series.
As always with database sightings, some caution is still warranted. A GSMA appearance can reveal launch intent, but it does not confirm the final launch schedule, hardware configuration, or regional rollout plan. Even so, the listing gives the vivo X500 Pro Max a more concrete place in the rumor cycle and strengthens the case for a future global debut.
