Xiaomi 17T Surfaces in Brazil Listing With Dimensity 8500 and 6,500mAh Battery

The Xiaomi 17T has shown up at Brazil’s Anatel certification body, and the listing is giving us an early look at the phone’s exterior design along with a few key hardware details.

Based on the images highlighted by GSMArena, the new model keeps a lot of the overall look of the earlier 15T, but the rear camera layout has been adjusted. It uses a triple-camera arrangement, while the fourth opening on the module appears to be decorative rather than functional. Leica branding still sits in the middle of the camera island, and the LED flash has been moved outside the module in a layout that feels closer to Xiaomi’s 15 series.

On the hardware side, the report says the phone will use MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 chip. The camera setup is said to stay in line with the previous generation, including a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel 2x telephoto camera, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

Battery capacity is tipped at a sizable 6500mAh battery, with support for 67W wired charging. That’s a notable combination for a device in this class, especially if Xiaomi keeps the rest of the package balanced.

There’s also a regional detail worth noting: the Brazil version is expected to ship with a 67W charger in the box, while the EU version may not include the charger at all. As always with pre-release certifications, the final retail specs could still change before launch.
