A new benchmark entry is giving us an early look at the Samsung Galaxy M47. According to a report highlighted by GSMArena and relayed by IT Home, the phone appeared in Geekbench with model number SM-M476B, posting an OpenCL score of 2256 in Geekbench 6.7.1.
The processor details in that listing point to Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. The chip is shown with four performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz, four efficiency cores at 1.8GHz, and an Adreno 710 GPU. That fits Qualcomm’s midrange positioning and suggests Samsung is aiming the device at buyers who want solid everyday performance without moving into full flagship territory.
The benchmark database also shows 8GB of RAM and Android 16. Those two details matter because they suggest Samsung is preparing the phone with current-generation software from the start, rather than treating it as a lower-priority refresh.
Beyond the benchmark, the report says earlier leaks point to a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a battery capacity of around 5000mAh. None of that has been officially confirmed yet, but it does sketch out a fairly familiar formula for Samsung’s M-series: mainstream hardware, a large battery, and a camera setup built around a higher-resolution primary sensor.
For now, the benchmark listing doesn’t tell us anything about launch timing or pricing. Still, once a phone starts showing up in public test databases, it usually means the official announcement isn’t too far off.
