OPPO is set to launch the OPPO Reno16 series on May 25 at 6:00 p.m., and a new leak shared by blogger Experience More outlines what could be the core hardware for the standard model.
According to the leak, the phone may use a Dimensity 8550 chip along with a 6.32-inch 1216p flat display, positioning it as a relatively compact option in a market that keeps trending bigger. The same post also points to 80W fast charging and a 6700mAh battery, which would give the device a notably large power pack for its size.
On the camera side, the rumored setup includes a 50MP front camera and a rear system led by a 200MP main camera, joined by a 50MP ultra-wide shooter and a 50MP JN5 periscope telephoto camera. The leak also claims the phone will use a metal middle frame and a glass back, plus stereo speakers, strong water resistance, and a dedicated AI key.
Earlier official teasers for the Reno16 series have already mentioned game-focused features such as exclusive gaming filters, 1.5K super resolution, one-tap replay capture, live game recording, and 2K super-resolution screenshots. OPPO has separately confirmed that the Reno16 Pro will move up to a Dimensity 9500s flagship chip, while this latest leak fills in more of the picture for the regular OPPO Reno16.
