A newly shared video reportedly shows a Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide dummy unit, offering an early look at what could be Samsung’s next wide-format foldable phone. The clip was posted by Sonny Dickson on X and focuses mainly on the device’s thin profile.
According to the post, the phone looks impressively slim when folded, to the point that it reportedly feels similar in hand to the Galaxy S25 Edge. While this is only a dummy unit rather than a confirmed final product, it still lines up with the direction Samsung has been rumored to be taking with thinner foldables.
Based on currently leaked details, the device is expected to feature two rear cameras, including a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, with no telephoto lens mentioned in the report.
The same leak says the phone may use a 4,800mAh battery and support 45W charging. On the inside, it is said to have a 7.6-inch display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, while total device weight could land around 200 grams.
Nothing here is official yet, so the final hardware could still change before launch. Still, this early look adds to the growing picture of an ultra-thin foldable strategy for Samsung’s upcoming foldable lineup.
