OnePlus Turbo 6X Launches With 144Hz LCD, Dimensity 7360 SUPER, and a 7000mAh Battery

OnePlus has officially introduced the OnePlus Turbo 6X, a new midrange phone built around a high-refresh LCD display, a large battery, and aggressive launch pricing. The phone is scheduled to go on sale on June 15, with early-bird pricing starting at 1,499 yuan in China.

The launch pricing breaks down into three configurations. The 8GB + 128GB model starts at 1,499 yuan, or 1,274.15 yuan after the national subsidy. The 8GB + 256GB version is priced at 1,699 yuan, or 1,444.15 yuan after subsidy. The higher 12GB + 256GB configuration costs 1,999 yuan, with a subsidized price of 1,699.15 yuan.

For the display, the OnePlus Turbo 6X uses a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD panel with a 2400 x 1080 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness is rated at 1,000 nits, and OnePlus says the screen uses hardware-level DC dimming to reduce flicker.

The panel also supports rain-touch, oily-hand touch, and glove touch input. Those are practical additions for a phone that is clearly aimed at everyday use, especially for people who want a large screen that remains usable in less-than-perfect conditions.

Inside, the phone runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 SUPER processor, which is built on TSMC’s 4nm process. OnePlus has not positioned this as a flagship chip, but it should be enough for mainstream apps, social media, video, and casual gaming in this price class.

Battery life is one of the biggest selling points. The phone carries a 7000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. It also supports wired reverse charging, so the device can be used to top up accessories or another phone when needed.

Storage expansion is another notable detail. The OnePlus Turbo 6X supports TF card expansion up to 2TB, which is becoming less common on many modern smartphones. For users who store a lot of photos, downloaded videos, music, or offline files, that extra flexibility could matter more than another small spec bump.

The phone also includes multifunction NFC and stereo dual speakers. Those are useful quality-of-life features at the lower end of the midrange market, where manufacturers sometimes cut extras to keep prices down.

OnePlus is offering the Turbo 6X in three color options: a white finish, a green-toned option, and a black version. The lineup gives buyers a choice between cleaner, brighter styling and a more conservative dark look.

Overall, the OnePlus Turbo 6X looks like a practical value phone rather than a camera-first or premium-design device. Its strongest points are the 144Hz LCD, the 7000mAh battery, expandable storage, and a starting price that puts it squarely in budget-friendly territory.

For U.S. readers, this model may not arrive through official local channels, but it still shows where Chinese midrange phones are heading: larger batteries, high-refresh displays, more durable touch features, and lower entry prices without removing basics like NFC and stereo speakers.
