Samsung May Add a 6.47-Inch OLED Display to the Rumored Galaxy S27 Pro

A new report from Korean outlet ETNews says Samsung may be preparing a different screen size for a higher-end model in next year’s Galaxy S27 family. The device is being referred to for now as the Galaxy S27 Pro, and it’s said to use a 6.47-inch OLED display.

If that sizing holds, the phone would land right between the two screen sizes currently associated with Samsung’s mainstream flagship structure. The report notes that the Galaxy S26 is expected to use a 6.3-inch display, while the Galaxy S26+ is expected to come with a 6.7-inch panel.

That would make the rumored Galaxy S27 Pro a middle-ground option rather than a direct replacement for either model. In practical terms, it looks like Samsung may be testing a new position in the lineup for users who want something more premium than the standard version without going all the way to the Ultra size or feature set.

The same report says the Galaxy S27 Pro would join the Galaxy S27 Ultra as part of the higher-end side of the Samsung Galaxy S27 lineup. It’s also said to share part of its technical foundation with the Ultra model, though support for the S Pen would reportedly be left out.

For now, this remains an early supply-chain style report rather than a confirmed product announcement. Still, the idea of a 6.47-inch OLED display suggests Samsung could be reconsidering how it spaces out screen sizes and product tiers in its next flagship generation.
