Honor says the upcoming Honor 600 series will be the first to launch with ultra-slim, evenly sized bezels measuring just 0.98mm bezels on all four sides. The company also says the new phones use an in-house Skyline packaging process that helps push the border below the 1mm mark.
The lineup is scheduled to launch on May 25. Alongside the display pitch, Honor is also promoting a triple-color design language and camera features it describes as a 4K flash micro-SLR style experience.
Based on details already circulating, the standard Honor 600 is expected to feature a 6.57-inch 1.5K flat display, an 8600mAh battery, and 80W wired charging. It is also tipped to include a 50MP front camera, a 200MP main rear camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor, a 12MP secondary rear camera, and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip.
The Honor 600 Pro is said to use the same 6.57-inch 1.5K flat panel while switching to an 8000mAh battery setup with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Reported camera hardware includes a 50MP front camera, a 200MP main camera, a 12MP secondary camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x zoom, along with a Dimensity 8550 processor.
So the big takeaway here is that the Honor 600 series is being positioned around front-facing design refinement as much as raw specs. If the company can ship those 0.98mm bezels in mass production, the Skyline packaging claim could end up being one of the standout talking points for the launch.
