A new phone carrying the model number motorola XT2611-1 has appeared on Geekbench, and a report from Gizmochina says it is expected to launch in China as the next-generation Lenovo Legion Y70. Even though the listing identifies it as a Motorola device, the branding for the local market is expected to be different.

In the Geekbench 6.7.1 database, the device posted a single-core score of 2615 and a multi-core score of 6681. The processor is listed as SM8845, which the report identifies as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip.

Lenovo has already started teasing the phone through official materials. According to that preview, the new model uses the Legion family design language, a fine-texture glass back, and an aviation-grade aluminum alloy frame. Lenovo also says the device is built around a gaming-focused grip design with a camera layout that should feel less intrusive in the hand.

The company is also promoting a 2K gaming display on the phone and claims its power consumption comes in below competing 1.5K panels. Battery life looks like another major selling point. Lenovo says the handset packs an 8000mAh “Star Ring” battery rated for 1200 cycles, with battery health still staying at or above 80 percent after seven years.

Cooling is another headline feature. Lenovo says the phone uses an industry-first thermal stack that combines gel, liquid metal, and a vapor chamber to boost heat dissipation efficiency. If that translates well to real-world use, it could make the upcoming Lenovo Legion Y70 a serious option for mobile gamers who care about sustained performance.

Lenovo China is scheduled to hold a new product launch event on May 19 under the theme “Tianxi AI, One Body Across Devices, All-Scenario Super Night.” Alongside the next Lenovo Legion Y70, the event is also expected to feature a Moto Razr Fold phone, the Lenovo YOGA Air 14 Ultra laptop, the Lenovo AI tablet Legion Y900, and the Lenovo Legion Y7000X laptop.
