OnePlus Turbo 6X series launch teaser

OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Turbo 6X series will be introduced next week, giving the brand another battery-focused option in its midrange performance lineup. The company is positioning the new phones as a strong choice for smooth everyday use and long battery life in the roughly 1,500-yuan price tier in China.

The series will include two models: the standard OnePlus Turbo 6X and the higher-end OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro. OnePlus has not shared the complete spec sheet yet, but its early teaser already separates the two phones by screen type, battery capacity, and processor.

The standard OnePlus Turbo 6X is confirmed to use a 144Hz LCD eye-care display. That matters because LCD panels still have an audience among users who prefer their dimming behavior or want a screen that feels easier on the eyes during long reading and gaming sessions. The phone will also carry a 7000mAh battery, which is well above what many mainstream Android phones offer, and it will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 Super platform.

The Pro version moves further up the battery ladder. OnePlus says the Turbo 6X Pro will include an 8000mAh battery, a Dimensity 7400 Super chip, a 1.5K Samsung eye-care display, and full-grade water resistance. Those details suggest the Pro model is being aimed at users who want a more premium screen and even stronger endurance without jumping into flagship pricing.

For now, OnePlus has not confirmed more granular details such as charging speed, camera hardware, storage options, exact launch pricing, or the final sale date. The teaser also does not say whether the standard model and Pro model will share the same design language or differ noticeably in weight and thickness because of their large batteries.

The timing is also useful context. The earlier OnePlus Turbo 6 series launched in January with a starting price of 1,699 yuan, while subsidized pricing reportedly dropped as low as 1,444.15 yuan. The new Turbo 6X lineup appears designed to extend that value-performance formula with bigger batteries and a clear focus on screen comfort.

If OnePlus keeps pricing aggressive, the OnePlus Turbo 6X could appeal to buyers who care more about refresh rate, battery life, and smooth performance than premium camera hardware. The Pro model, meanwhile, looks like the more interesting option for users who want the largest battery and a sharper display in the same family.
