OPPO has officially unveiled the OPPO Find X9 Ultra at its latest imaging-focused launch event with Hasselblad. The phone arrives as a new flagship built around the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, a large 7050mAh battery, and a camera system OPPO is positioning as a serious tool for creators. Pricing in China starts at 7,499 yuan.

The lineup is offered in four standard storage tiers plus a satellite-communication version. The 12GB + 256GB model starts at 7,499 yuan, followed by 12GB + 512GB at 7,999 yuan, 16GB + 512GB at 8,499 yuan, and 16GB + 1TB at 9,299 yuan. A 16GB + 1TB satellite version is priced at 9,499 yuan.

OPPO is also selling several accessory bundles around the device. A Hasselblad professional imaging accessory kit is priced at 2,499 yuan and is scheduled to go on sale in May, while the Find X9 Ultra Hasselblad Explorer Master Set is listed at 11,999 yuan.

In terms of design, OPPO says the phone draws inspiration from the Hasselblad X2D 100C Earth Explorer limited edition. It uses a new durable eco-leather finish, carries Hasselblad branding on the back, and comes in three colors described as tundra, glacier, and canyon-inspired shades. The handset also uses Crystal Shield glass and is rated for top-tier water resistance and drop protection.

Camera hardware is where OPPO is putting most of the spotlight. The company says the phone features six upgraded lenses, including a Hasselblad 10x telephoto camera with native 10x optical zoom and optical-quality zoom up to 20x, a 200MP large-sensor telephoto camera, and a 200MP large-sensor main camera. OPPO also highlights a new internal optical zoom approach that boosts effective pixel counts at the 2x and 6x focal lengths, aiming to get more out of its high-resolution imaging system.

The phone also introduces an updated Hasselblad camera experience through a new-generation Master Mode. OPPO says this includes Hasselblad True Detail output, Hasselblad Natural Color, and a native film-style mode. According to the company, users can capture 8K high-resolution stills across six focal lengths, use a new end-to-end ProXDR color workflow, and choose from nine film-inspired looks designed to recreate different tonal styles.
For video, OPPO is pitching the device as a cinema-grade production tool for creators. The Find X9 Ultra supports 8K 30fps 10-bit Log recording as well as 4K 120fps 10-bit Log capture. It also adds O-Log2 to preserve more shadow and midtone detail, supports the ACES professional color workflow for multi-camera matching, and allows users to import, preview, and burn in custom 3D LUTs for on-site color work.
OPPO says it worked with TILTA to build a more complete creation ecosystem around the handset. That includes support for professional ND filters, compatibility with a manual follow-focus handle, and onboard HDMI output to make collaborative shooting workflows easier to manage.
Outside imaging, the Find X9 Ultra uses a 2K eye-comfort display rated at 1 nit minimum brightness and built with OPPO’s X3 flagship light-emitting material. The panel supports 144Hz refresh, pixel-level gamma correction, and a visual comfort tuning system. OPPO pairs that with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and its Tide Engine, claiming the phone can sustain high-frame-rate gameplay in several major mobile game categories.
Battery life is another headline feature. The device packs a 7050mAh Glacier Battery using OPPO’s battery management chip and a self-developed spherical silicon-carbon anode material. Charging support includes 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Connectivity and durability get a long feature list as well. OPPO includes a new-generation communication system with an enhancement chip, dual-satellite support for calling and texting when terrestrial signals are unavailable, dual symmetrical speakers, a bionic vibration motor, and IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. The phone has also passed an SGS five-star drop-resistance certification for the whole device.
Finally, OPPO announced a special Hasselblad Explorer Master Set that includes an Ultra teleconverter, a camera grip case, a custom shoulder strap, a 67mm filter adapter ring, a storage bag, and a numbered certificate. OPPO also said the No.000001 collector edition shown on stage has been added to the Xinhua News Agency collection.
