Motorola has released new preview videos for the Razr 70 Ultra, giving a closer look at two new finishes ahead of the phone’s official debut. The company highlighted a sandalwood brown version and a soft purple option, and confirmed that the launch event is scheduled for 7 p.m. on May 19 launch day.
According to the official teaser details, the foldable will use a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Motorola also says the device features a seventh-generation hinge design, an ultra-light titanium-alloy hinge structure, a 50MP rear main camera, and a 5000mAh battery.
The announcement fits into a broader Lenovo product event built around its AI and multi-device strategy. IT Home noted that the same event is also expected to include several other product categories, including a new YOGA Air 14 Ultra laptop, a next-generation Legion Y70 phone, an AI tablet under the Legion line, and a Legion Y7000X notebook.
Even though this teaser is short, it adds a bit more texture to Motorola’s pitch for the Razr 70 Ultra. Instead of focusing only on raw specs, the brand is also leaning into materials, finish options, and the premium feel of the foldable as it heads into the final stretch before the May 19 launch.
