Samsung Rolls Out One UI 8.5 Update to Mid-Range Galaxy A and M Series Devices

Samsung is rapidly accelerating the deployment of its latest software, bringing the One UI 8.5 update to mid-range and budget devices. According to reports from Android Headlines, the tech giant has begun pushing the update to several models in the popular Galaxy A series and Galaxy M series across key markets like South Korea and India.

This phase of the Samsung One UI rollout includes the Galaxy A34, A25, A16 4G, and A06 5G, alongside the Galaxy M16 5G and M35 5G. Korean users of the Galaxy A34, A25, and A16 have already confirmed receiving firmware versions ending in EZE6, EZE8, and DZE7 respectively, while users in India are seeing updates for the Galaxy A06 5G and Galaxy M35 5G.

While the One UI 8.5 update does not introduce major visual overhauls, it focuses on refining daily usability. Users will find new customization options for the Quick Panel, alongside updates to core Samsung applications. More importantly, the update significantly enhances system stability and animation smoothness, making standard navigation, opening apps, and pulling down the notification shade feel much more responsive on these mid-range devices.

As with all major Samsung rollouts, this release is being deployed in stages. If you own an eligible Galaxy A series device and haven’t received a notification yet, you can manually trigger the check by heading to Settings, selecting Software Update, and tapping Download and Install.
