Realme has officially listed specifications for its upcoming budget device, the realme P4R 5G, ahead of its global release scheduled for June 10. The smartphone is designed to appeal to users seeking unmatched battery life in the entry-to-mid range category, while maintaining a surprisingly slim and modern profile.
The headline feature of the new handset is its massive 8000mAh battery smartphone configuration. Despite carrying such a large capacity cell, Realme has managed to keep the chassis thickness to a highly manageable 8.8mm. The battery supports 45W wired fast charging, allowing users to top up the massive capacity relatively quickly.
Performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which is paired with a large 5,300mm² VC vapor chamber cooling plate to handle sustained workloads and keep temperatures down. The phone features a 6.8-inch 720p HD+ LCD display supporting a 144Hz high refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits.
On the design front, the realme P4R 5G is available in three colors: Silver, Titanium, and Lavender. The rear camera module incorporates a customizable ring light strip that can be set up for personalized notifications. The dual rear camera array features a 50MP primary sensor. Other notable specs include IP65 dust and water resistance and RealmeUI 7.0 out of the box.
