vivo has shared a closer look at the new vivo S60 series finish called “Starry Sea,” highlighting the design direction the company plans to bring to its next launch on May 29 at 7:30 p.m.
According to vivo, the new Starry Sea finish uses a starlight-style lithography process that gives the rear panel a bright, shimmering look inspired by a summer night sky. The company also says the phones use an integrated cold-sculpted glass treatment, helping the camera area flow more cleanly into the rest of the body.
The design is paired with a metal frame, which vivo says improves both the in-hand feel and the overall texture of the device. In earlier coverage referenced by IT Home, the S60 was also said to include 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition 2.0, a 7,200mAh battery across the lineup, 90W fast charging, IP68 and IP69 protection, stereo speakers, infrared control, and an X-axis linear motor.
Besides Starry Sea, the new series is also expected to come in Early Summer Green and Midsummer Night color options. Full launch details are still on the way, but this preview makes it clear that vivo is putting as much attention on materials and finish as it is on the phone’s core hardware.
