A new leak out of China is painting an early picture of what may become the vivo X Fold6. The tip comes from Digital Chat Station, who shared a specification list for an upcoming flagship foldable phone powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chip.
According to that leak, the device would feature an 8.02-inch 2K UTG inner display and a 6.51-inch outer screen. It’s also said to include dual 20MP front-facing cameras, one for each screen configuration, which is a familiar approach for premium book-style foldables.
Around the back, the rumored camera system sounds ambitious. The leak points to a 200MP large-sensor main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. The same report also mentions a roughly 7,000mAh-class battery, wireless charging support, and top-tier water resistance.
While the source didn’t name the phone outright, clues in the original discussion led many commenters to believe the model in question is the vivo X Fold6. Another leaker, Panda is Bald, recently said both the vivo X Fold6 and Xiaomi MIX Fold 5 are on the way, adding that vivo’s next foldable could rank near the top of the category for battery capacity while still keeping a very thin and light design.
That second leak also claimed the handset would use a 200MP main camera, which lines up with the earlier post. If both reports are accurate, vivo may be trying to push battery life and camera hardware forward at the same time instead of treating one as a tradeoff for the other.
For comparison, the current-generation X Fold5 launched in June 2025 with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a 217-gram body, a 6,000mAh battery, and a starting price of 6,999 yuan. That gives this new foldable phone rumor a useful baseline: if the leaked Dimensity 9500 model is real, vivo could be aiming for a meaningful upgrade in imaging and battery capacity for the next generation.
