vivo has officially confirmed that the vivo Y600 Pro will debut on April 27, and the headline feature is easy to spot: a massive 10,200mAh battery designed to keep the phone running far longer than a typical midrange model.

According to vivo product vice president Huang Tao, the company is pitching the phone around five practical battery goals rather than just a big capacity number. He said the Y600 Pro is meant to deliver long life, stable performance, better efficiency, long-term durability, and fast top-ups in everyday use.

On endurance, vivo says the phone can clear 24 hours in six lighter-use scenarios and more than 12 hours in three heavier-use scenarios. For battery stability, the device reportedly uses second-generation semi-solid-state battery technology developed with CATL New Energy, with performance claimed across a 60 degree Celsius temperature range.

The company also says it worked closely with MediaTek on chip-level AI power optimization. vivo adds that the phone received what it calls the industry’s first level-one power-saving certification from the China Quality Certification Center, and it claims standby time can stretch to as long as 16.7 days.
Durability is another major part of the pitch. vivo says the Y600 Pro includes AI-based full-cycle battery health management that should help the battery stay reliable for up to six years. Charging is also a big part of the package, with 90W charging support that is said to refill the huge battery in under 80 minutes.
Beyond battery life, vivo says the phone will bring a more premium-looking design, IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, Enhanced Communication 3.0, OriginOS 6, and a 1.5K eye-care display. IT Home also notes that an earlier leak pointed to a 6.83-inch flat LTPS screen, a 2.5GHz Dimensity 7300e chip, and a 50MP dual-camera setup, which may line up with this same device.
