vivo Y600 Pro is now on sale in China, and the standout feature is easy to spot: a huge 10200mAh battery paired with a 6.83-inch 1.5K display. vivo is offering the phone in Haoyue Black, Floating Gold, Star Purple, and Vast Blue, with pricing starting at 1,999 yuan.
The launch pricing breaks down across five configurations. The 8GB + 128GB version starts at 1,999 yuan, the 8GB + 256GB model is priced at 2,299 yuan, both the 8GB + 512GB and 12GB + 256GB versions come in at 2,599 yuan, and the 12GB + 512GB model tops out at 2,899 yuan. The source article also notes lower after-subsidy prices in the Chinese market for each of those storage options.
On the front, vivo uses a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a 2800 × 1260 resolution, up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display also supports HDR, 10-bit color, and the P3 wide color gamut, while vivo lists a peak contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1.
Design is another area vivo is clearly emphasizing. The company says the phone uses a fine matte finish with rounded corners, plus a rear camera module styled with what it describes as a floating gold ring. According to the official material, that ring uses aerospace-grade aluminum and is paired with detailing inspired by watch design.
The battery is the main headline, though, and vivo is making some unusually bold durability claims around it. The company says the 10200mAh battery can support more than 24 hours of continuous use in lighter scenarios and more than 12 hours in heavier-use situations. It also claims the battery remains reliable in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 40°C, and that the phone can deliver as much as 39 hours of continuous calling even in a -20°C environment. Charging is handled through 90W wired fast charging.
Inside, the vivo Y600 Pro runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300e processor, a 6nm chip with an octa-core CPU layout. vivo pairs that platform with LPDDR5 dual-channel memory and UFS 3.1 storage.
The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel rear main camera with support for up to 10× digital zoom, along with 1080p and 720p video recording. Around front, the selfie camera is a 32-megapixel unit with fixed focus.
Other listed features include IP68 and IP69 water resistance, wet-hand touch support, an E1 communications enhancement chip, OriginOS 6 out of the box, full-featured NFC, an infrared blaster, VC liquid cooling, and stereo speakers. Taken together, the phone looks like a battery-focused mid-to-upper-tier Android model that still tries to cover a fairly broad hardware checklist.
