A new update from market watcher RD Observation suggests the Xiaomi 17 family is off to a very strong start in China. According to the figures shared today, cumulative sales for the broader Xiaomi 17 lineup had reached about 4.7363 million units by week 18 of 2026, while the Xiaomi 17 Ultra alone had reportedly moved roughly 207,000 units.
That would add more weight to the momentum Xiaomi already highlighted earlier in the launch cycle. Previous reports noted that the Xiaomi 17 lineup crossed 1 million sales within just five days of going on sale, and Xiaomi founder Lei Jun publicly reposted that milestone. The company also said the full Xiaomi 17 range set a new first-sale record for all-day revenue and unit sales across every price segment in China’s domestic smartphone market, with the first five minutes alone enough to reset the benchmark.
The source also restated the current pricing structure across the family, showing how Xiaomi has spread the range across several tiers. For one model in the series, the reported prices start at 12GB + 256GB for 4,499 yuan, then move to 12GB + 512GB for 4,799 yuan, 16GB + 512GB for 4,999 yuan, and 16GB + 1TB for 5,299 yuan.
Another model is listed at 4,999 yuan for 12GB + 256GB, 5,299 yuan for 12GB + 512GB, 5,599 yuan for 16GB + 512GB, and 5,999 yuan for 16GB + 1TB. Higher-end versions in the lineup reportedly continue upward from 5,999 yuan for 12GB + 512GB to 6,299 yuan for 16GB + 512GB and 6,999 yuan for 16GB + 1TB.
At the very top end, the report also mentions premium variants priced at 6,999 yuan for 12GB + 512GB, 7,499 yuan for 16GB + 512GB, and 8,499 yuan for 16GB + 1TB. Leica-branded editions are said to sit even higher, with a 16GB + 512GB version at 7,999 yuan and a 16GB + 1TB version at 8,999 yuan.
There may still be another addition coming to the range. A late-April leak pointed to a large-screen flagship expected near the end of May, powered by an 8 Elite Gen5 chip. That device was said to feature a high-resolution flat display, very narrow LIPO-style bezels on all four sides, an 8K-class battery, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, and full waterproofing. If that rumor is accurate, it could arrive as the Xiaomi Max follow-up within the Xiaomi 17 family and further widen the lineup.
For now, the latest numbers should still be treated as market-watch estimates rather than a formal Xiaomi earnings disclosure. Even so, they paint a picture of a flagship series that has landed well with buyers and is still building momentum after launch.
