Xiaomi 17T, 17T Pro, and 17 Max Reportedly Set for Global Launch on May 28

A fresh report from NotebookCheck says Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro are on track for an overseas debut on May 28, while the Xiaomi 17 Max is also expected to arrive in global markets. If that timeline holds, Xiaomi could be preparing a fairly broad international rollout instead of limiting the lineup to China first.

The report adds that the standard Xiaomi 17T is expected to use a 6.59-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED punch-hole display and a 32MP front camera. On the back, it’s said to pair a 50MP Light Hunter 800 main camera with a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP 5x telephoto lens. Power is reportedly handled by a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chip, alongside a 6500mAh battery and 67W wired charging.

Stepping up to the Xiaomi 17T Pro, the report points to a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K 144Hz OLED punch-hole panel, again matched with a 32MP selfie camera. The rear setup is said to include a 50MP Light Hunter 950 main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 5x telephoto lens. Internally, the phone is tipped to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, backed by a 7000mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.

The most distinctive model in the group may be the Xiaomi 17 Max. According to the same report, it uses a 6.9-inch flat display, comes in three color options, and features Xiaomi’s first Leica-tuned 200MP main camera together with a 3x periscope telephoto lens. The phone is also said to use Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 flagship platform and pack an 8000mAh battery.

At this stage, these details still sit in the rumor category, but the overall picture suggests Xiaomi is building clear separation across the trio: the Xiaomi 17T as a strong upper-midrange option, the Xiaomi 17T Pro as a more aggressive performance flagship, and the Xiaomi 17 Max as the lineup’s larger-format camera-and-battery showcase.
