HMD Vibe 2 5G has officially gone on sale in overseas markets as a budget-focused handset built around the Unisoc T8200 platform and a large 6000mAh battery.
The phone uses a 6.75-inch IPS LCD panel with 720P+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, it runs on the 6nm Unisoc T8200 chip, which combines two Cortex-A76 performance cores with six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.
For battery life, HMD pairs the device with a 6000mAh cell and support for up to 18W wired charging over USB-C. On the camera side, the rear main sensor is rated at 50 megapixels, though the company hasn’t detailed the secondary camera specifications yet.
Up front, the phone includes a 8-megapixel selfie camera. Other hardware details mentioned in the report include a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The handset ships with Android 16 out of the box, and HMD says it will provide two years of security updates. Pricing in India starts at 10,999 rupees for the 4GB + 64GB version, while the 4GB + 128GB model is listed at 11,999 rupees.
