Motorola has confirmed that its next Razr foldable phone will launch in the US on April 29. Ahead of the announcement, an early retail listing has already revealed the full spec sheet and several official renders for the standard Motorola Razr 2026, which is expected to be sold as the Razr 70 outside North America.

According to the leaked listing, the phone keeps the same core screen setup as last year. It uses a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED main display with a 2640 × 1080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The outer panel remains a 3.6-inch AMOLED cover screen with a 1056 × 1066 resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,700 nits.

Motorola also appears to be keeping Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the front. The device is shown in Hematite, Sport Green, and Light White color options, while some leaked images also point to an additional purple version.

In terms of size, the Motorola Razr 2026 reportedly matches the previous generation exactly. It measures 7.25mm thick when unfolded, weighs 188 grams, and carries an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance.

Inside, the phone is said to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7450X chip, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. That setup represents a mild but useful step up from last year’s standard model.

The rear camera system is where the biggest visible change shows up. The main camera stays at 50 megapixels with an f/1.7 aperture, while the ultrawide camera is upgraded from 13 megapixels to 50 megapixels and moves to an f/2.0 aperture. On the front, Motorola keeps a 32-megapixel selfie camera, now listed with an f/2.4 aperture.

Battery capacity is also getting a bump. The new model is expected to ship with a 4,800mAh battery, along with 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, which gives the phone a modest upgrade over its predecessor.

Based on the current leak, the rest of the 2026 Razr family may not change dramatically from the prior generation. Even so, the standard Motorola Razr 2026 looks set to deliver several practical improvements instead of just a cosmetic refresh.
